The overs 45s went through to the 3rd round of the league cup with a 5-3 victory after extra time at Plough Rangers. Taking a 2 goal half time lead they slipped somewhat in the second period to trail 3-2 before getting level and sending the tie into extra time, Carl Haines, Karl Whittaker and Craig Stevens the men on target. Two goals, one apiece for Aiden Swift and Karl Whittaker in the extra 30 minutes proved enough for a United team who thoroughly deserved their 5-3 victory.

It was a different story for the Over35s as they welcomed Premier Division side HSBC Bank to Old Road for their 2nd round league cup tie. Twice trailing at 1-o then 2-1 they came back each time with goals for Jay Reagan and Craig Jackson only to suffer a red card for Paul Mills before conceding late on to lose the match 3-2.
