With the first team having already experienced a game at the Keepmoat Stadium two years ago it is now the turn of the Academy to play on the big stage, they will play Kinsley Boys in the Champions Shield Final at the home of Doncaster Rovers a short time after the Rovers have completed their game the same day against Newport County. The Champions Shield is a game between last seasons winners of the Premier Division KO Cup and the Division 1 KO Cup which of course the academy side are the current holders. The game kicks off at 5.30pm.

What support they will have is not clear as both the first team and Veterans are also in action, the first team are in County Senior League Cup action and will play Houghton Main Reserves, KO 3.00pm, extra time and penalties will be played if required.

The Veterans are also in action and will play AFC Dronfield in the Wragg League at Balby Carr, KO 2.00pm
