Important game tomorrow evening!

Tomorrow evening Denbigh Town play host to Conwy Borough in an important game for the Reds as we need to get back on track and consolidate our position in this league for next season.

Conwy Borough completely out played Denbigh at Y Morfa the last time the two teams met when they won 4 - 1 although Dewi and Matty are expecting a much stronger performance from their players tomorrow.

Conwy lie in 10th place with 22 points whilst Denbigh are 13th on 20 points with a game in hand over The Tangerines.

We have heard of no team issues coming from Conwy although ex Denbigh keeper who left for Rhyl with Eddie Maurice-Jones before moving to Conwy Borough has just been transferred to WPL side Bala Town. They still have a strong keeper in Antoni Sarnowski ,though, so we do not know what effect, if any, it will have on the club.

As far as Denbigh are concerned we are pleased to report that defenders Curtis Langton and captain Tony Davies as well as forward Mark Roberts are in the squad after serving their suspensions but Scott McHarrie has still to have one more match on the sidelines. Stuart Vernon has done very well since coming in to the side and he will be disappointed to miss this one with an ankle injury. Jacob Walker has reported fit and is welcomed back. Forward Ali Sheriff will make his home debut tomorrow and will be a player for the supporters to look out for. The club have also been working behind the scenes to secure another player on loan to strengthen the squad even further for this second half of the campaign but we are not aware if he makes the squad tomorrow or not.

We are confident that it is going to be a cracking night!

There will be plenty of seating as usual in our excellent stand, the cafe will be selling hot food, drinks and snacks and our new licenced bar will be open in the club house if you fancy a drink.

We are looking forward to this one !

C'mon Denbigh !
