Saturday 13 Oct Central Park 2.30pm ko

Denbigh Town's squad has been plagued by injuries of late and the situation continues as we go into tomorrow's game against mid Wales side Guilsfield FC. Our management duo have been working hard behind the scenes to strengthen the squad with a limited budget and are quite happy with things as they stand. The Reds could certainly do with more points and will look to get something this weekend from this match with the Guils who are just two points above us in the Huws Gray Alliance League table.

Matty had this to say “After two disappointing results we are hoping to bring some work we’ve seen over the last few weeks together for this game on Saturday. Although we lost the game against Airbus last Saturday we couldn’t fault the effort from the players and are hoping to build on this. We know that Guilsfield are a very strong side, you just have to look at how they have performed in the league over the last few seasons to realise that this is going to be a really tough test for us. The lads have trained very well this week and it’s now down to us to put this practice into the match. In terms of the team, we will be without Bailey and Rhys Llwyd but are hoping to welcome back Curtis Langton”

Storm Callum is blowing away as this report is being prepared and we are due a lot of rain between now and kick off. The pitch is doing fine though and we do not anticipate any problems but will post any updates should there be a need.

C'mon Denbigh!
