Match Preview: Flint v Denbigh Town 29 Dec 2018

3 weeks ago By Stephen Whitfield

First of three away games

After Boxing Day's drama at Central Park the Reds are now on their travels with the next three league games being away from home at Flint, Gresford and Bangor.

The first of these away fixtures and our last league game of 2018 comes tomorrow afternoon, Saturday 29th December, with a 2.30pm kick off at Cae Y Castell.

Flint are currently in 4th place in the league on 30 points whilst Denbigh are up to joint 9th on 19 points after our derby win. Flint lost their Boxing Day contest at Holywell and their manager Niall McGuinness will be determined to get the team back on track and will want a repeat of Flint's victory at Denbigh early in the season.

Things will be made that bit harder for The Reds as we will be without centre back Curtis Langton, who begins his suspension after being sent off against Ruthin and midfielder Jordan Barrow remains doubtful through injury. However a number of Denbigh's players have hit top form of late with some excellent performances so the managers will still be looking for a good effort and a sneaky three points which would help so much in our quest to pull away from the relegation zone.

Come along and show your support. 2.30pm kick off at Flint

C'mon Denbigh !
