Denbigh Town travel to Gresford Athletic's Clappers Lane ground for Saturday's match missing two key players through suspension namely Curtis Langton and Scott McCarrie but will still look to come home with something. The team has been playing well, there has been some strong individual performances, there is depth in the squad and a true fighting spirit.
The Reds will face Gresford who must be confident after remaining unbeaten throughout December and their star striker Jake Eyre bagging four goals in their last match against Holyhead Hotspurs. They also beat Denbigh in the opening game of the season 3 -1.
The Colliers currently lie in a respectable 6th place on 23 points whilst Denbigh are 11th on 20 points but have a game in hand over Saturday's rivals. The league is so tight that a win for Denbigh would see them climbing nearer that top six position but a loss will see us getting sucked back into the danger zone.
Can Denbigh get revenge for that first game defeat? We have had a difficult start to the season but how will 2019 be ? If you are coming to Gresford to find out remember it is an earlier kick off than normal with a 2pm start
