Denbigh Town and The New Saints will contest the Word Cup Final at MBi Llandudno's Maesdu Park ground on Saturday, 23rd January 2016.

Competition wildcards Denbigh have already knocked out three Welsh Premier League sides on their way to the final.

They eliminated Rhyl and Airbus UK Broughton before seeing off gap Connah's Quay 1-0 in last week's semis.

Cup holders TNS are also current runaway leaders of the WPL and the present champions.

January's final will be attended by Wales national team manager Chris Coleman who is, once again, looking forward to the occasion.

"Denbigh deserve great credit for reaching the final – having beaten three Welsh Premier League teams on the way – and I’m sure that they’ll do their best to claim a fourth WPL scalp," said Coleman.

"It’s obviously going to be a difficult task but it should be a very enjoyable day."

MBi Llandudno’s general manager Dorothy Langley is looking forward to hosting the final.

"We’re very happy that that the Word Cup Final is coming to Llandudno," she said.

"We’ve had great support from the people of the town this season and I’m sure that they’ll come out in force for the final.

"We wish The New Saints and Denbigh Town the best of luck and we look forward to welcoming their supporters on the big day. We also look forward to welcoming Chris Coleman back to the club as he officially opened our 3G facility last year."
