New signing awaits International Clearance

2 months ago By Stephen Whitfield

Denbigh Town welcome 21 yr old Pat Hinchcliffe

Local player Pat Hinchcliffe has returned from a year in New Zealand where he played for Melville United FC and we are pleased to announce that he has now signed for Denbigh Town.

He started with Denbigh Juniors as a 12 yr old before moving to Ruthin Juniors where he progressed through to the senior side and had played there for three and a half years before leaving for New Zealand.

As a youngster he also had a trial period at Oldham Athletic Academy and represented Wales u16s in international matches. Whilst a student at Llandrillo he played for Wales u18s Welsh Colleges in a tournament in Italy which was a great experience.

Pat is a strong player able to play both in defence and midfield and is very comfortable on the ball and in the air. Dewi Llion told us " Pat is a very good footballer and an athlete so he will give us some physicality and quality on the ball. I tried to sign Pat for years during my time at Bala so am chuffed to have finally got the chance to work with him."

Pat will require International Clearance from the FAW before he can turn out for the Reds and everything possible is being done to get this finalised although it could take a number of weeks before we see him playing.

Welcome to Central Park Patrick !
