Biography
27 years old originally from Prion.nr Denbigh. Joined Wrexham’s youth set up at 10 years old and went on to represent Wales at u15, u16 and u17 level. Offered a scholarship by Wrexham, but decided to pursue a career in television and now working as a producer and commentator for football show Sgorio on S4C. Signed for Denbigh in 2008 but went on to play for Bow Street and Llandyrnog before returning to Central Park in 2013. Working weekends has restricted playing time, but Rhys has been a part of the successful reserve team for the last few seasons. Being close friends with new manager Dewi Jones (will be his best man at his wedding in December), Rhys couldn’t say no when asked to be part of the first team set up and is hoping to be able to play as big a part as possible when available.Squad
