Sunday can't come quick enough for the U13s players and coaches following a lengthy period without a game due to the inclement weather we have been experiencing in recent months. The disruption to scheduled fixtures has been so severe that it is inevitable that several of the rescheduled fixtures will have to be contested during midweek.

Franco Buonaguro commented on the fixture backlog by hinting that it is only a matter of time before winter breaks become reality although it was hasten to add that he would not be one of a growing number people lobbying hard for its introduction.

It has been a difficult few weeks for the players, parents and coaches because of illness, injuries and very little game time. However, credit to the players who have remained focused throughout and are chomping at the bit to get started again. The U13s will have to be at their very best if they hope to get anything out of Sundays away trip to a super confident West Bridgeford side following their recent victory over Forest.
