Indoor Training
From Thursday 24th November all boys and mens training sessions will move from Wirksworth to the new leisure centre in Matlock.
The reason for this is change to moving indoors is two fold. Firstly, we will be able to train throughout the winter, something we have never been able to do due to weather conditions. Secondly, indoor hockey is fantastic for skill development.
I know this move will cause problems for people who either can’t get down to Matlock or who have siblings in the girls section of Matlock Monkeys 6-7pm session.
Where transport is an issue can you please raise this with me, as I will endeavor to find lifts for people who live nearby.
Where siblings are in the Matlock Monkeys section from 6-7pm, you have a choice. You can either send both to the sessions at Wirksworth or Matlock leisure centre.
The indoor sessions will run every week through to 2nd February, (execpt Thursday 29th December) when we will recommence with outdoor training on 9th February (weather permitting). The times will also remain the same as for the outdoor sessions.
