Derwent had to work hard against Ramgahria starting with only 10 men with the usual suspects pitching up late again.
Injured Chris Pooley was dragged off the bench to fill in the for the missing students, and he did a stirling job.
Fortunately the home team pulled together and kept the opposition from threatening the Derwent goal.
Once the usual suspects, Jack, George and Alex arrived Derwent never really looked troubled with Chris Rodgers keeping the Ramgahria centre forward very quiet allowing Steve Shearer King to play much higher up the pitch.
Derwent applied plenty of pressure winning more short corners than I have fingers. The only thing missing was a finish.
Top goal scorer Andy McKeown once he was finally given the ball from a short corner slotted home as usual from an acute angle at the near post.
Kane and Kyle Hunt promoted from the 3rds slotted straight in to the 2nd team with Kane controlling the left wing, taking a blow to chin for the team and Kyle scoring Derwents 2nd goal with some finesse.
George came on for injured Kane allowing him to receive some necessary butterfly stips on the cut chin.
Ramgahria Rallied in the 2nd half and managed to pull a goal back after managing to pull Steve King out of defense and firing past unlucky Ed Berry in Nets.
Not to be outdone Jack scored Derwents 3rd goal linking really well from a determined run from left back Alex "Bambi" Nigbur.
Tom Highton and Max Morris controlled the right wing and Gary Sharlow freshly moved from goal keeping duties in to the midfield to keep things moving well in the middle of the park.
The final whistle went and the score was 3-1, unfortunately for Ramgahria a short corner had just been awarded. Andy McKeown fired home his 2nd of the day in much the same fashion as his first.
"Great day" said Macka, "Bring on Rolls Royce next week"
