Cost of Dues - Men's Team Dues

Men's Team Dues

What are they for?

Dues provide a revenue stream for the team to pay their bills. These bills include Midwest Union Dues, Iowa Union Dues, Referee Match Fees, After Match Socials, Some Travel costs, new equipment and tournament entry fees.

What do I get with paying dues?

Besides playing with the greatest bunch of guys ever, you get top notch facilities and practice equipment. You get a clubhouse to hang out it after practice and matches. You get a certified medical trainer at every home match. You don't have to worry about bringing food or beer to socials. You contribute to the betterment and lasting of the Des Moines Rugby tradition. You get to experience road trips and get exposed to a whole other world that you didn't know existed. Most importantly, you become part of the Rugby Brotherhood.

Rookies (Monks) consist of players that have less than 2 seasons of rugby with Des Moines. Those that are considered rookies are not expected to have their dues in prior to the first match, but will begin to be hounded around midseason. They will CIPP themselves with USA Rugby and pay that annual fee of $35. They will also need to purchase their team shorts and socks. These will become available for purchase after dues have been collected.

Rookie Dues- $50
Shorts and Socks -$45
CIPP Registration (Annually in the fall) - $35

$130 for their first season. $50 for their second.

Veterans (Friars) consist of players that have more than 2 seasons of rugby with Des Moines. Those that are considered Veterans are expected to have their dues in prior to the first match, and hound those that haven't paid yet. They will CIPP themselves with USA Rugby and pay that annual fee of $35.

Veteran Dues - $100
CIPP Registration (Annually in the fall) - $35

$135 for the first season, $100 for the second.
