The Men's schedule has been finalized for the Spring and boasts some new and old faces.
The club will travel back to Topeka, KS for a St. Patrick's Day tournament. Last year the team went 1-1, losing to KURFC in the semi-finals.
The team will then be home the next 2 weeks, taking on Minnesota foes, Metropolis B and St. Paul Pigs. Des Moines split with Metropolis last fall in the league season, with both home teams winning. St. Paul hasn't been to Bartlett Field in almost 3 years, the last match between the clubs taking place in St. Paul. Also, Des Moines will play host to a match between potential Division 1 playoff bound teams, Metropolis and KC Blues on the 24th.
After a weekend off for the Easter Holiday, the team will travel to take on the NW Woodsmen in Schaumberg on the 14th, followed by a jaunt up I-35 to Ames to take on the Iowa State Cyclones on the 21st.
The men's team returns home on the 28th to take on KCRFC before heading to the All-Iowa tournament in Iowa Falls on May 5th and 6th.
Mark your calendars now to come out and watch the Des Moines Men as they continue to build on a successful fall.
