Great Season Start
What a great start to the season
A brilliant start by the U10s to a season which is aimed at developing the players as individuals and as a team.
With a win against Saltash I could not have been more proud of the team I have chosen to take under my wing. the following week against Ivybridge didn't seem the fair as well but they still played hard.
Devenport Services was more of a learning curve than a serious game and I was very proud of the seven available players who showed what this team is capable of.
There are things that we will work on in training and i hope to develop this team and "bring them up" through the rugby world
I have ten years rugby experience and am currently a first team player for the adult side DHSOB. With my knowledge and experience (although its not much experience) I hope to show the U10s how fun and rewarding the game of rugby can be.
I also have Kev Westlake helping me out who has years of experience and Coached me from the age of 16 and now he even coaches me in the senior team.
I hope to organise some Team building sessions and days in the future to help mould the team together as this is a key aspect.
Attached is the List of things to remember on a match day in case the players didn't receive it a few weeks ago
Great Start, lets bring on the rest of the season
