On a perfect day for rugby saw two of Devons top teams Devonport Services and Ivybridge come together to play a quality game of rugby. With both captains acknowledging ready to the referee the game began. Devonport Services fly half Toby Fisher starting the game with a huge high drop kick, and within seconds the game ignited with both teams attacking well, but both defences stood up to a bombardment of attacks from both teams demonstrating some awesome tackling with a mention to Devonport Services outside centre Jonah Moore . With both teams battling it out something had to give as the work rate from both sides increased, but no, defence and attacks kept coming. This was simply incredible to watch, breath taking at times, and went on until the referee blew up for half time. With a crowd gathering and families and friends supporting their teams the second half began. The second half started as both teams left it, every team member marking their opposite number and demonstrating fitness, but it was Ivybridge who broke the dead lock with a week tackle from Devonport Services enabling Ivybridge to cross the line and convert to go ahead 0-7.
