Herbie Owen and George Thompson selected for Exeter Chiefs U 16 academy

have both been selected for the Exeter Chief's under 16 academy.
Having played for DSRFC for a number of years this season they move in to the final youth year, the undr 16s.
Herbie Owen plays at tight head prop and George Thompson plays hooker.
Both have been in the regional Develop players program at Exeter Chief's for several seasons so they have been on the Chief's radar all that time.
Last week their moment to impress came when they were selected to play for the Chief's under 16s academy side who were playing Wasps, London Irish and Northampton Saints at Warwick school.
Clearly they did impress so we will watch their progress with interest.
