Dewsbury Celtic got off to a slow start against Woolston and the visitors were 0- 12 to the good after two tries from Glynn Roberts and Chris Twigg both converted by Will Chadwick # Celtic eventually worked their way into the game with Danny Thomas solo effort in the 26th minute weaving his way through the Woolston defence converted by Pat Foulstone 6- 12 both sides had chances to score before the break but the final pass on both occasions went to ground 6- 12 at half time
Woolston again started well and extended their lead when Glynn Roberts darted over 6- 16. Celtic then put the restart out on the full which enabled Woolston to apply the pressure through several sets and penalties eventually told when Chadwick scored and converted his own try

Celtic however were not beaten and gave themselves hope with two quick tries from Paul Foulstone and Danny Lee both converted by Pat Foulstone with five minutes left at 18 -22 however with the game was sealed for Woolston when Conner Muir darted over in the last minute to make the final score 18-26
