EAST LEEDS came from behind in the second half to overcome DEWSBURY CELTIC 32-8 in a hard fought contest.
Celtic got off to a fantastic start as full back Nathan Lawrenceleapt and collected a chip by Halloran crossed over after just 4 minutes.
Both teams fought hard in the 1st half with Celtic giving as much as they were receiving. East Leeds utilised their large left side and although they made ground they didn't post points in half.
The second half kicked off and East Leeds were a different team. They attacked with more purpose, strength and aggression. With 7 minutes gone the scores still remaind the same. East Leeds power then told on the Celtic defence and they posted 24 unanswered points.

At the begining of the season we discussed that we were stepping up into a higher age group, which would mean stronger more phyisical sides. East Leeds showed that this was the case.
Although we held East Leeds for 45 minutes we allowed them to then dominate the ruck and attack gaps, which is something we haven't allowed before.
