Welcome to the Didcot Rugby Club Under 9s!

We are a team of boys and girls in Year 4!

We play transitional contact rugby, as part of the RFU ( England's Rugby Union governing body) Age Grade Rugby programme. This provides a structured way to build up a players abilities year by year.

At Under 9 we begin teaching our players contact rugby. Specifically we teach our players about the rugby tackle.

This is the core skill we train at this age and we really focus on how to make a safe tackle and also how to be tackled safely!
