Didcot Town and Hitchin Town meet again tonight in the FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round following a 1-1 draw between the two sides at Top Field on Saturday afternoon. Charlie Thake headed southern Premier Division side Hitchin ahead on 18 minutes only for youngster Brett Gardner to volley Didcot level on 35 minutes meaning the tie must be settled tonight at the Loop Meadow Stadium (7:45pm kick off). The draw for the next round has already been made and the winners of tonight's game will have a home game against Hastings Utd on Saturday 6th October.

Manager Andy Ballard has the rare luxury of no added injuries or absences so he has named the same squad as that which travelled to Hitchin on Saturday. George Reid made his first appearance of the season from the bench and David Murphy was also named among the subs to give Ballard more options than he's had so far this season. Lance Williams is still unavailable due to injury meaning he's the only player in Ballard's squad currently unavailable for selection.

A reminder that tonight's game must be settled on the night so extra time and penalties will follow if the scores are level at full time.
