Didcot's run of tough games continues tonight as Steve Claridge's Salisbury FC make the trip to Didcot for the sides first meeting of the season. The game between was due to be played back in November but due to cup fixtures being rearranged, will finally be played tonight. The rearrangement meant the game was added to the long run of games against most of the promotion chasing pack.
Salisbury come to The Loop this evening full of confidence following a 6-2 win over in form Yate on Saturday. After some mixed results at the start of the season Claridge's side have been in top form over the last few months as they look to extend their advantage in second and look to close the gap on leaders Taunton.
Didcot look to get back to winning ways in the league after a defeat at Taunton and the draw against Supermarine has seen us drop down to 8th in the table. With the table so tight, one result will see teams rise and fall a number of places on a weekly basis. Didcot are close to being back to full strength with only Callum McNish and Seth Humphries still on the sidelines. Callum returned to training last week so will be a welcome boost to the squad in the next few weeks. Adam Learoyd is also available before his three game suspension starts on Saturday.
It's going to be a cold one this evening so wrap up warm, the clubhouse will be open before and after the game so join us this evening for what should be a good game.
