Didcot Town are back at home tomorrow afternoon as the Railwaymen face Aylesbury FC for the 4th time this season, 3pm kick off from the Loop Meadow Stadium. Didcot have had the better of their Buckinghamshire based opponents over the 3 previous games with 2 wins and a draw although the draw was at the Loop earlier this season in the Prelim stages of the FA Cup.
Didcot will be looking to consolidate their top 5 positioning on Saturday while Aylesbury although struggling at the wrong end of the table come into the game in the middle of their best run of results of the season with 3 wins on the trot in all competitions. Aylesbury having already announced they are accepting relegation no matter what happens to them on the field this season due to FA ruling over the size of changing facilities have rallied in recent weeks and will be looking to spoil the party just as they have done to fellow playoff hopefuls Bedford Town in recent weeks.
Manager Andy Ballard will still be without captain Adam Learoyd who serves the 2nd of his 3 game suspension as well as Pablo Haysham who is absent with a ligament injury. Also missing will be David Murphy who picked up a serious looking knee injury last weekend and Brett Gardner who is away this weekend. George Reid has returned from injury and been playing in the Development side to boost his match fitness and he returns to the squad for Saturday. Lewis Hayden faces a late fitness test on an ankle injury in the final piece of Didcot team news.
It's another important game on the run in for Didcot and the Railwaymen need your support to cheer the team on to hopefully another 3 points, get down to the Loop tomorrow for what will be another dramatic afternoon of football!
