Despite being one of the smallest teams with a squad of 9 players for the 9 a side games the team played fantastically well, sweeping aside last year's winners and runners up. They finished the first day unbeaten with 3 wins and one draw, scoring 18 tries in total and only conceding 1! Day 2 saw more great play and after winning all of their pool games (tries for 15, against 5) they went through to the final against Southport. Sadly with only 20 minutes rest between their last pool match and the final, and playing against a large Southport squad (who had 2 full teams of under 10s to choose from) TocH lack of numbers started to show. Despite valiant efforts from all of the team they lost the final 4-1.

However it was a great result over all with some great tries scored, super rucking and mauling and all of the team putting in some fantastic tackles! Everyone was extremely proud of the team making their first final, especially a rather emotional coach Jones.

So well played Nate, Joe, Ed, Harry, Finlay, Christopher, Max A, Max F, and Seb - all in all a great weekend.
