DINGS, showing nine changes to their starting line-up, slipped to their second successive defeat, going down 10-0 at Worthing Raiders. There's no doubt that the horrendous weather conditions contributed to a mistake-ridden contest, but the home side coped better in the driving rain and gale force winds. Crusaders had their moments and came close to scoring on a few occasions in the second-half, but a combination a great defence by the pumped home side and handling errors meant the the visitors ended the game without registering a score.

As the scoreline suggests, it was tight throughout this scrappy affair. Raiders full-back Matt McLean booted a 15th minute penalty and added the extras when centre Harrison Sims scampered over midway through the second-half to effectively seal the narrow victory.
