A DOMINANT all round performance by the Knights saw them to a comfortable 10-tries to one victory over Cleve 2nds in the Wadworth 6X Reserve League fixture at Shaftesbury Park. The home side played superbly throughout and held the aces in all departments against a young Cleve side that battled until the end in this one-sided affair.
Fly-half Dean Weaver pulled the strings behind the scrum for the Knights, but the foundations were laid by the pack, who had too much power and dynamism for their youthful opponents. Prop Josh Lloyd and Number 8 Simon Tsangari both bagged a brace of tries, with Barney Goatley, Dylan Quick, Matty Wright, James Jackson, Ray Chase and Jordan Gratton also crossing the whitewash for the Knights. Weaver added four conversions in the 58-5 victory.
