Dings Vets Win Bristol Combination Vets Cup Again!
Dings Vets retained the Bristol Combination Vets Cup for the 3rd Consecutive year
On a wet and windy night the Dings Vets led by Captain Jerry Westlake beat Aretians 15 - 3 to retain the cup.
Unbeaten for 3 seasons the Dings were not given an easy ride by an Aretian side that looked determined to bring the winning streak to an end. However in the end the Dings claimed victory with 2 tries including one from birthday boy James Winter.
In the Vase final (Very) Old Elizabethans beat Avonmouth 7 -0 although Avonmouth forgot to bring the trophy back as they won it last year!
All in all a very enjoyable night with plenty of alcohol and tales of when they all beat each other up as young men.
