More people needed to be added to the lifesaving stem cell register.

Team Margot have teamed up with Anthony Nolan, the UK’s blood cancer charity and together we're asking all the clubs in the UK to help us add more people to our lifesaving stem cell register.

We need 16-30 year olds to register and we'd love The Dings Crusaders RFC to help us achieve this by spreading the word to your colleagues and customers.

Every 20 minutes, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a blood cancer like leukemia or lymphoma, and may need a stem cell transplant to save their life.

A stem cell register is a list of potential donors whose medical details can be searched to see if they are a tissue type match for a blood cancer patient. The chance of a patient getting a perfect match is only 60% so we urgently need more potential donors to join the register.

An effective thing you can do to help save lives:

If you’re aged between 16-30, please register by clicking here.

Once you've completed the form, we’ll send you a saliva kit in the post. Just spit into the tube and send it back to us (no cost to you). We'll let you know once you're on the register and of course, should you prove to be a match.

There are many more things that you could also do to help spread the word. To find out more, please contact myself or any of the Anthony Nolan team. We'd be delighted to talk to you.
