Following a successful appeal to the County FA, the punishment imposed by the League to Dinnington Town was lifted.

The League had imposed an 11 point deduction as well as other sanctions including banning players until 2013 and the whole club being put up for re-election in the summer regarding alleged poaching of four players by Dinnington Town from another club (a charge Dinnington denied).

A County FA Board of Appeal heard Dinningtons appeal, and ruled that the points deduction and the other sanctions imposed on Dinnington are to be lifted with immediate effect.

Many thanks from the manager, David Howden, for all the support we’ve received from players, parents and club officials throughout this difficult time for the team. We are delighted that our appeal was upheld by the FA so that we can now all get back to the lads focussing and enjoying our football again.
