Please read this item.

Recently there have been a couple of incidents in the clubhouse and ground that require parental attention.

While we are all aware that children cannot be supervised 24 hours a day it is your responsibility to ensure your child is safe while on club premises.

The stairs to the new viewing area upstairs in the clubhouse has a wooden surround that children have been climbing on – this despite clear signage that states that no unsupervised children are allowed upstairs to this area. This is a potential hazard and should a child fall would result in serious injury. Also please help to keep this area in good condition by not putting feet on the window ledges and walls.

The new balcony is an absolute pleasure to watch the rugby from, however the sloped roof adjacent to the door to the viewing area is not a place for children to climb – please stop this happening. If cups, glasses etc. are taken onto the balcony, please either return to the kitchen/bar or use the bins provided.

The wooded area to the right of the second and third team pitches is not club property and as such please ensure your children do not trespass in this area. There was an instance of a child falling into mud in a drained pond up to their waist in the wood – please supervise children.

NOBODY WANTS TO SPOIL THE CHILDRENS’ FUN, BUT THEIR SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT AND WE ALL HAVE TO TAKE A DEGREE OF RESPONSIBILITY IN THIS REGARD.

Have you seen these?
