The Club has been deeply saddened to learn of the passing of John Shields - father of Dee stalwarts Roy, Philip & Alan. John always maintained a great interest in the Rugby Club and was a keen follower of all of his sons during their playing days together with Roy’s sons Stephen and Chris when they assumed the playing mantle. The President, Club Council and Members of Donaghadee RFC offer their deepest condolences at this sad time to Roy, Philip and Alan, their sister Aleata and brothers Robert & Ivor together with the wider family circle.

Funeral Service will take place on Thursday 28th June at 10am in 1st Presbyterian Church, Donaghadee followed by a private family committal.
