Volunteering at DRFC is not limited to the following roles. We need help with match days, events and coaching & organisation at Mini and Youth Level

Volunteer roles within the Club for 2017/18

1. President – S QUINN
o Restricted to match-day hosting at lunches etc and representing the Club at formal Club occasions and Dinners.

2. Vice-President (non-executive) -
o Assisting President as required & succession

3. Chairman –
o Leadership of all aspects of the Club

4. Vice-Chairman -
o Assisting Chairman as required and succession

5. Hon. Secretary – S THOMPSON
o All matters associated with such a role within the Club

6. Hon. Asst. Secretary – M Williamson
o Assisting and supporting Hon. Sec.

7. Hon. Treasurer -
o Control of all financial, treasury, book-keeping, accounting and audit matters concerning the Club

8. Hon. Asst. Treasurer –
o Assisting Hon. Treasurer as required but with emphasis on lodgements, creditor & debtor management

9. Internal Auditor – J Lyttle
o Oversight of all financial, control, management and governance functions within the Club together with control of legacy debt management until such time as such debt has been discharged

10. Fixtures Secretary – S WOOD
o Arrangement of annual fixtures for all senior sides and liaising with Clubs and Branch in relation to same over course of season.

11. Registration Officer – S WOOD
o All matters concerning registration and maintenance of player registration system

12. Subscriptions Secretary – M POOLE
o Collection and administration of annual subscriptions

13. Asst. Subscriptions Secretary – Rugby Committee
o Assisting Subs. Secretary as required

14. Child Welfare Officer (CWO) – Darrin Jones
o Management of all statutory and non-statutory safeguarding protocols

15. Media Officer – Andrew Miller
o All matters concerning PR, Marketing etc on all media platforms.

16. Match Reports convenor –
o Sourcing and managing match reports for all sides during course of season and provision of same to media Officer

17. Webmaster – S THOMPSON
o Management of Club website & Social Media

18. Asst. Webmaster -
o Assisting Webmaster as required

19. House Convenor – M Nicholl
o All matters concerning day-to-day and cyclical maintenance of the Clubhouse

20. Grounds Convenor/Committee Chair –
o All matters concerning day-to-day and cyclical maintenance of the grounds

21. Club Safety Officer –
o Responsible person in regards to club safety
o Ensures log books are kept up to date

22. Bar Convenor/Liason –
o Stock control, volunteer staff management and efficient running of bar facility

23. Fundraising & Entertainment Convenors – Commerical & Events Committee
o Development, management & control of all bespoke fundraising initiatives
o Promotion and management of all ongoing entertainment within the Club over the course of the year

24. Development Convenor –
o Management of development opportunities with particular focus on sourcing of grant funding and support

25. Sponsorship & Advertising Convenor -
o Sales and management of all matters surrounding sponsorship, board & web advertising etc.

26. International Ticketing Convenor – B HUSTON
o Management of all aspects of International Ticketing within the Club

27. IRFU (Ulster Branch) Representative – J LYTTLE
o Representation of the Club on IRFU (Ulster Branch) Clubs’ Committee and liaising between Club and Branch as & when required

28. Volunteer Convenor –
o All matters concerning volunteer support within the Club

29. Legacy Fundraising Convenor – N Hamilton
o Managing the fundraising geared towards legacy debt - selling, prizes and prize draws

30. Sports Hub Convenor – P Walker
o Managing the DRFC interests in the new Sports Hub

31. Mini Rugby Convenor - N Moraghan
32. Youth Rugby Convenor (inc. Branch Youth Committee) –
33. Ladies Rugby Convenor (inc. Branch Girls Committee) - N Hamilton
