Saturday 17th September saw another successful year for Hockey Fest at Doncaster hockey club. The event was well supported by members young and old including the men's and ladies 1s teams sporting their new team kit sponsored by DC TRAINING.
The sponsored cycle race raised over £350 with other pitch based activities adding to the total.
The penalty shuffle was won by Jack Hodgkiss (runners up Chris Shaw and Jo West) with the obstacle course and the hockey curling prizes being picked up by Dave Carey (runners up John Housham and Euan Whitaker) and Eoin Codley Rock
The Olympic quiz was won by Lucy Haslam and Annabelle & Daisy Bennett and a team of far more than 8 won the tug o' war!!!
As usual, many thanks to all those who helped to organise the day - in particular Elaine Thorpe, Jo West, Abby O’Neill, Kerry Haslam and Barbara Bellerby.
Thanks to Andy Gibson for organising the pitch activities, Ade O'Neill for collecting and returning the bikes (and the Dome who lent them to us), Ali March for the tug o' war rope, as well as K & P catering who kept us all fed and watered.
