North Clubs Reject Restructure
Plans to reduce the Mens North Hockey League to 36 teams were last night rejected by a majority of clubs at the summer meeting.
The plan to remove North League One and reduce the number of teams in the North league by 12 were rejected by a large majority at the North Hockey League Clubs Meeting.
Any change to the league structure will now not occur until after the detail of planned changes to the National League are Known.
Also rejected was a rule change which would have seen teams losing points when over 20 yellow cards are accrued.
