Ed Miles is one of our many promising young players and at only 19 has been a regular member and starter in the First XV squad in the last two seasons. This has been no mean feat as a back-row player bearing in mind our pool of talent, though in recent times he has also shown his versatility by playing on the wing and in the centre position.

In the summer of 2017, he is hoping to travel to Fiji on a volunteering trip. He will be travelling with the volunteering company VESA and will be helping small communities. The work will include teaching children English at local schools, maintenance of facilities and installation of new equipment.

The need for help is even greater after the devastating cyclone Winston that hit recently. Ed needs to fundraise roughly £3000 to cover flights and the cost of the programme.
