Match Previews - Skipton & Thornensians
Phoenix 1st team squad welcome Skipton to Castle Park whilst the 2nds travel to local rivals Thornensians.
Despite the clubs playing resources being severely stretched this weekend the 1st team are able to name an unchanged pack on the back of their outstanding performance at West Leeds last Saturday. The back line sees changes with Full back Owen Denovan returning after injury and Andy Ellis making his return (inside centre) to the 1st team after an 18 month absence, on the wings Richard Greaves and David Oakley take over from Wayne Barnes and Joe Matthews.
The 2nd team unfortunately have to suffer the consequences of 21 unavailable/injured senior squad players, however it is encouraging to note that despite this they are still able to send a 15 to Thorne who are well capable of returning with the merit table points.

Liddle, Atkinson, Tamanis, Neal, Caning-Birtles, Morris, Thomas, Byrne; Elliot, Storey, Oakley, Ellis, Greenslade, Greaves, Denovan; Farley, Horrocks, Matthews.
