Valour did not make it a easy game today and were the better team in the first 45 minutes of play,some last ditch defending and a superb double save from Sam Jenner was needed from gate to thwart valours long ball tactic to their very fast stiker.
Dowgates goal slightly against the run of play still took us into half time a goal to the good though,a counter attack ending with Ant Hinton beating his marker and valour keeper all in one move to pass the ball into a empty net.
Dowgates 2nd half was a much much better effort,the midfield looking stronger and the forwards looking alot more dangerous,and the only thing that caused us real trouble in the 2nd half was valours rory delap style throw ins,one of which was thrown staight into the goal but was rightly ruled out as it didnt touch anyone.
Dowgate had to wait till nearly the 80th minute though to settle any nerves,a crossed ball finding Sam Moon unmarked to smash the ball pass the valour keeper,the third goal was not too far behind this time Tom Kelly with his first goal in 6 years heading over the valour keeper from a Andrew Jarrett cross to wrap up our third win in a row.

We deserved the win today even though the first half was below par,starting to take the points now that your performances deserve,all of you used in midfield were fantastic today(this does not include you though snell),even with out the mr jonny i cant play ive lost my phone jack grrr,and we also today took our chances to score which was pleasing.

Im going to go with Sam Jenner in goal today,vital double save at a crucial time in the game,and his handling and coming out to catch the ball was perfect today.
