All Derbyshire clubs are invited along to swell the numbers. Will you please pass this information around all of your clubs to any players that might be interested in playing Vets rugby for the County next season.

The fixture has been planned to coincide with an England v Rest of the World fixture at The Stoop, the home of Harlequins Rugby Club in support of Sport
Aid.

Rumour has it that the celebrities on show will include Harry Judd (McFly), Shane Williams, Geordan Murphy and Mike Tindall.
The basic plan for the weekend is to travel down on Friday afternoon, watch the charity game that evening and then play Surrey on the Saturday.

There will then be the option of a second night away and a return on Sunday morning or a return after the game on Saturday evening.
All arrangements are still quite fluid, as I am sure a good part of the
weekend will be.

The initial estimate of cost is around £100 plus tickets to the charity game but as arrangements are yet to be finalised that might well vary depending on whether or not it is a one or two nighter.

The tour is being organised by the Derbyshire Veterans rugby manager, Matt Worsey, and if any of your players are interested they are asked to contact Matt direct.

With fixtures already arranged for the coming season and a County trail set for Sunday 11th October this will be an ideal opportunity for players interested in paying Veterans Rugby to join up with the squad.
