Player & Team Eligibility for 2015 MBA Rugby World Cup

Coming to this year's MBA Rugby World Cup? Review this information to make sure you and your club are registered properly to play.

All requirements are dictated by USA Rugby.

Men’s Eligibility Requirements Please aim to have all of these items completed by March 20th.

1. Minimum of 15 players registered per side (in the U.S., this means CIPP: https://webpoint.usarugby.org/)
2. Club must be registered (in the U.S., renew USA Rugby membership: https://webpoint.usarugby.org/).
3. 200 Level coach registered with your team.
 The coach must be listed on your roster with USA Rugby. HOWEVER, the coach does not need to actually attend the tournament (i.e. it would be as if your coach was out sick). In other words, you just need someone with a Level 200 certification to agree to sign on to the team.
 A coach can be registered with multiple teams, but only one of those teams can be participating in the RWC.
 If you don’t have a coach already, we recommend using the undergrad coach if possible.
4. International Clubs – In order to be compliant, you need to submit to me a “Tour Approval from Home Union” letter. Attached are two examples for your reference used by LBS and Smurfit last year.

Directions for FORMER or CURRENT USA Rugby Members:
1. Go to https://webpoint.usarugby.org/
2. Click “Login” if you have an account already OR click “Request a Login Account” if you were a member previously, but never created an account.
3. Login.
4. Click on “Renew Membership” (located on the upper-left column underneath MEMBER HOME).
5. Screen will show with a 5-step process across the screen. Verify your member info, and click “Submit”.
6. Step 2 will come up. In the center of the screen is Player Member.
• For “State”, select New York.
• For “Club”, select MBA Rugby World Cup.
• Click “Sign Up” at the bottom of the screen.
7. Go through the next few steps and check out. There will be a $5 fee per player.
8. Recommendation: Forward your confirmation email to your club president or whoever keeps records. This will help them keep a tally on players.

Directions for those NEW to USA Rugby:
1. Go to https://webpoint.usarugby.org/
2. Click “Join USA Rugby”. You will be shown a screen with a 5-step process across the top.
3. Step 1: Enter in your member information, and click “Submit”.
4. Step 2 will come up. In the center of the screen is Player Member.
• For “State”, select New York.
• For “Club”, select MBA Rugby World Cup.
a. Click “Sign Up” at the bottom of the screen.
5. Go through the next few steps and check out. There will be a $5 fee per player.
6. Recommendation: Forward your confirmation email to your club president or whoever keeps records. This will help them keep a tally on players.
