JUNIOR CRICKET
Dukinfield CC provides opportunities for young people (Boys and Girls) of all ages and abilities to receive coaching and competition in cricket.
All coaching is run by Level 1 and Level 2 qualified coaches who have attended Child Protection and First Aid courses. All coaches have been CRB checked through the ECB.
The club has been awarded the ECB Clubmark accredited, which is awarded to cricket clubs by the England and Wales Cricket Board when the cricket club is able to demonstrate that it meets the ECB Clubmark criteria across four areas:
Duty of Care and Safeguarding Children
The Cricket Programme the club offers
Sports Equity and Ethics
Club Management. ECB Clubmark
We take these issues seriously and are striving to provide a high quality and welcoming environment for young participants in cricket.
We welcome parents/carers and guardians to all training and competitions and value their support and are keen to try and involve parents and carers in the club.
Our Under 17s, Under 15s and Under 13 Teams play in the Lancashire County League and our Under 11s, Under 10s and Under 9s play in the Tameside and District League.
Junior Training for the U17s and U15s takes place on Monday evenings. The sessions start at 6.30pm and finish at 8.00 pm.
Junior Training for the U13s - U9s takes place on Friday evenings. The sessions start at 6.30pm and finish at 8.00 pm.
During the season one to one coaching can be arranged with our club Professional Andrew Gleave.
