Here's what the printed press has been saying over the last week

Starting off last Sunday, with the report from the Non League Paper, where our match away to Staines Town was the Bostik League Premier Divison's main feature report:

HAMLET HIT AS SWANS SWOOP FOR A POINT

Dulwich missed the chance to top the table when they were held to their third 1-1 draw in as many meetings with Staines already this season.
“A highly entertaining match between two of the division’s top six clubs,” was Staines boss Johnson Hippolyte’s take on this great advert for Bostik League football.
He told The NLP: “We showed great character to battle back after going behind, and young Elliot Baptiste nearly set up the winner right at the end.”
The Swans had the better of the opening quarter.
They had a penalty appeal turned down within a minute and Lewis Driver headed inches over. Ben Martin also went close with a header.
But by the interval Hamlet were dictating the play, with Nana Boakye-Yiadom and Ntren Clunis creating a flurry of chances.
The former was denied by a perfectly-timed Tyrell Miller-Rodney tackle, and the latter fired wide and had other efforts thwarted by Tommy Brewer and Staines keeper Liam Driscoll.
Hamlet continued their good work after the break and took two minutes to open the scoring.
Clunis won the ball in midfield, advanced down the left and netted a fine solo goal, his 90th for Hamlet, with a powerful angled shot.
Before that, Max Worsfold had tested Hamlet keeper Preston Edwards at the near post, before Staines claimed their 63rd-minute equaliser.
Hamlet had kept four clean sheets before this game, but conceded when a hasty clearance fell kindly for Mo Bettamer to control well and stroke in his tenth goal of the season.
Bettamer nearly grabbed a second in Staines’ next attack. But Hamlet sub Reise Allassani also had a powerful shot deflected for a corner moments after coming on.
Clunis and Michael Chambers might have won it for Dulwich before Worsfold’s late chance, but Hippolyte was satisfied that Staines had competed well and gained a deserved point.
Hamlet boss Gavin Rose felt his team had shaded the match on chances.
But he agreed that both sides had contributed much to a fine contest.
He generously attributed the dropped points to a “a bit of bad luck and the fact that we were up against one of the strongest sides we’ve played recently.”

ENTERTAINMENT: ***** (out of a maximum five stars)

That draw at Staines also led the headlines in the South London Press non-league column on Tuesday:

Unlucky deflection proves costly for Hamlet

A goal from winger Nyren Clunis was not enough to prevent Dulwich Hamlet dropping to fourth in the Bostik League Premier Division after a 1-1 draw at Staines.
The South Londoners started brightly after the break and the long-serving winger popped a beautiful finish into the top right corner in the 47th minute after cutting in from the left.
Clunis had been the one bright spark in what had been a remarkably dull first-half, as he tested Staines keeper Liam Driscoll a number of times in the closing stages.
Hamlet failed to convert numerous opportunities. After a hopeful through-ball deflected off Hamlet midfielder Ashley Carew, Swans striker Mohammed Bettamer finished an easy chance to draw the contest level.
Dulwich manager Gavin Rose said: “Better finishing was needed. If we took the chances we had then the game would have been out of sight. We weren’t as clinical as we have been over the last four.”
At this point last season, Dulwich had failed to keep a single clean sheet, but were on a run of of four without conceding going into this game.
Rose said: “They had a bit of fortune, there was a deflection and that’s just how things go sometimes. They had a stroke of luck, but then again they could’ve nicked a goal right at the end. On the balance of play we had the better chances. We made bad decisions, didn’t take those chances, and left the game in the balance. Out of the last four games they are probably the strongest team we’ve played.”

By Thursday the weekly Southwark News was celebrating our big win at home to Harlow Town:

Clunis double lifts rampant Hamlet up to second

Dulwich Hamlet made another convincing statement about their ambitions this season with a rampaging 4-0 win over Harlow Town on Tuesday night.
After Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Staines Town left them in fourth place in the Bostik League Premier Division table, this was a fifth clean sheet in six games to move them up to second, level on points with Hendon, though Leiston and Billericay do have games in hand.
After successive losses in league and cup games in September, this was also a fifth win in six fixtures, and Gavin Rose’s side look like they are set for a sutained promotion challenge this season.
Nyren Clunis’ double, as well as a first goal for Reise Allassani and one from Michel Chambers gave Hamlet an emphatic win in front of 552 fans at Champion Hill.
The home side could have gone ahead in the fourth minute when after Sanchez Ming had been fouled Chambers met Ashley Carew’s free-kick but couldn’t direct his header on target.
It was an open game and Harlow almost got their noses in front when Hamlet goalkeeper Preston Edwards was beaten at a corner but Carew was there to sweep the ball off the line.
Ibrahim Kargbo then tested Harlow stopper Ashlee Jones with a fierce drive, before Dulwich went in front in the sixteenth minute. It came from a quick break following Marc Weatherstone’s excellent tackle. He found Clunis wide on the left and the attacker did the rest as he drove inside before firing a superb effort past Jones into the top corner.
Ming went close to doubling the advantage as Dulwich attacked with pace and intent, but the hosts didn’t have to wait long for the second, Carew’s corner headed on by Weatherstone and the ball flicked off Chambers and into the back of the net.
There was an element of luck about that but not about the third. Clunis was again involved, this time turning provider ten minutes after the break when he found Allassani for a neat finish on the turn.
Junior Dadson hit the side netting for the visitors but a fourth arrived for Rose’s side in the last minute. It was all the work of Clunis, who dispossessed Jide Maduako on the halfway line before he outpaced the away defence and shot low past Jones to add a final flourish to a classy personal and team performance.
Hamlet will be looking to continue their recent excellent run, and possibly claim top spot in the league table, when they face Burgess Hill Town at Champion Hill on Saturday. Kick-off is 3pm.

And, to complete our weekly round-up, Friday's South London Press concentrated of our recent signing, who found the back of the net in that Harlow Town match:

Allassani still aiming for top as he open Dulwich goal account

Former Crystal Palace prodigy Reise Allassani announced his arrival at Dulwich Hamlet with a goal in Tuesday's 4-0 win at home to Harlow Town.
The 21-year-old attacker returned to action 13 months after being released by the Eagles. He ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament just before he was poised to sign for Sheffield Wednesday.
The England youth international started on Tuesday in place of Nana Boakye-Yiadom and scored Hamlet's third goal, in the 55th minute, following a surging run that saw him draw Harlow stopper Jide Maduako before spreading the ball wide to Nyren Clunis on his left. When his strike partner returned the compliment, Allassani took a touch just inside the box, spun and fired underneath Town keeper Ashlee Jones.
The new signing's contribution followed first-half goals from Clunis and defender Michael Chambers.
Clunis claimed his second in the 90th minute. Without Jones' unconventional heroics, Dulwich could have scored seven as they climbed to second in the Bostik League Premier Division.
"Long-term, I want to play in the Premier League," said Allassani, "If I have to start here, then that's what I have to do. It takes time but I'm willing to work at it. It's really great to be playing again. I'm just trying to get my fitness back and enjoy football again. Of all the non-league clubs [Dulwich] have quite a good reputation. I've played against them many times over the years and I got a call from them asking if I wanted to play. I'm enjoying it down here."
Dulwich manager Gavin Rose said he is happy to have a player on board who not so long ago was reportedly being courted by a bevy of Premier League clubs.
"He's got a lot of trickery, a lot of pace," said Rose. "He has a lot of belief in his ability, that if he has opportunites, he will score. He's another great addition to the squad. We've got a few injuries and when someone like that comes in, he keeps everyone on their toes. He was a very talented young player and played for England up until 16 and 17. He was highly thought of at Crystal Palace and was in and around their first-team squad under Dougie Freedman. Then his career stagnated a little bit, finding that opportunity to get into the first team,"
