Dulwich slipped out of the play off places wit b a last minute defeat to Leiston having let a half time lead slip.

Despite being roared on by another great crowd of 710 Dulwich paid for defensive errors to slip out of the play off places.

Dulwich deployed Peter Adeniyi deployed at right back to counter the threat of Britain's Joe Francis and Marc-Anthony Okoye was called in at centre back. Erhun Oztumer returned to the side following injury and Kevin James was named amongst the substitutes in a strong looking home line up that saw Harry Ottaway make a first start since August.

Dulwich opened confidently but fell behind on 10 minutes as a cross from their left was swept home by Craig Parker. Dulwich swept forward in search of parity and Erhun Oztumer shot over after being fed by Ellis Green.

Leiston keeper Danny Gay had to be alert to thwart Harry Ottaway as he was fed by Nyren Club is who was giving Leiston left back, Patrick Brothers, a torrid afternoon. It was Clunis who grabbed the equaliser in the 28th minute as he lnatched on to a through ball and confidently rolled the ball past Gay.

This was the cue for The Hamlet to get on top as Erhun Oztumer had a curling shot saved, Harry Ottaway then fired wide and Oztumer fired over.

In the 36th minute Nyren Clunis put Dulwich in front as he received the ball to the left of goal and he turned inside before firing a shot that went through Gay in the Leiston goal.

Harry Ottaway almost added a third before the break but his overhead kick flew narrowly wide and the same player also shot just wide.

Half Time 2-1

It took just 6 minutes of the second half for Leiston to level as a free kick found the unmarked David Head who placed his header into the corner of the net.

It was around the hour mark before The Hamlet began to create any chances as Erhun Oztumer had two efforts just wide. However, the visitors always looked dangerous, particularly from set pieces. From these both Head and fellow centre back, Joe Jefford, went close.

Harry Ottaway sent Jerome Walker clear but he was crowded out and Lewis Gonsalves headed just wide. Harry Ottaway was a threat all afternoon. He shot just wide before combining with Nyren Clunis whose lob fell to Erhun Oztumer at the far post. His shot seemed to be goalbound but was blocked on the line.

With 90 minutes up, Nyren Clunis flashed a shot across the face of goal before disaster struck at the other end. Marc-Anthony Okoye was unable to deal with a bouncing ball in the centre circle and left a forward running in on goal. Although Phil Wison rushed from his line to block the ball fell to Craig Parker to drill home.
