A brace from Dumebi Dumaka was matched by one from Panutche Camara in a useful workout for both sides.

Unlike in many pre seasons the Dulwich Hamlet starting team contained only Marvin Elliott & Anthony Acheampong that did not feature last season.

It was clear from the start that the visitors were further forward in their preparations and it only took them 3 minutes for Enzio Boldewijn to seize on poor defending to fire past Preston Edwards. Dulwich rarely threatened although both Sanchez Ming & Dumebi Dumaka produced good crosses that passed across the Crawley goal with no home player in the penalty area.

Crawley extended their lead on the half hour when Michael Chambers did not deal decisively with a through ball and, when Nathan Green tried to get the ball back to Preston Edwards, Panutche Camara nipped in to confidently beat the Dulwich keeper.

However, Dulwich pulled a goal back within a minute. A Sanchez Ming cross was far too strong and would have sailed out for a throw in, but Morris in the visitors goal tried to catch it. However, he was only able to parry it into the air and Dumebi Dumaka nipped in to head home.

With half time just a couple of minutes away The Hamlet were level. A pass forward from Michael Chambers was flicked on by Nathan Green into the path of Dumebi Dumaka and he produced a controlled finish.

Half Time 2-2

Crawley grabbed the lead again with another goal from Panutche Camara although Dulwich were unlucky not to score again. A Gavin Tomlin shot was parried but hit a retreating defender before it was scrambled off the line.

Crawley went on to add a fourth goal with a couple of minutes remaining when Matt Harrold turned home a cross with a deft deflection.

There was still time for Gustavo Ferraz to produce a sublime piece of skill but his effort produced a brilliant save from the visiting keeper flying high to his left. At the other end Preston Edwards produced a strong save from Moussa Sanoh and then a great tip over from a Matt Harrold effort.

Final Score 2-4
