Both sides fielded much changed line ups that reflected their respective promotion ambitions, as Dulwich moved through to play Cray Valley Paper Mills in the semi final.

The first chance fell to Dulwich in the 4th minute but, after good play from Panutche Camara, Omar Koroma shot straight at Pierson in the visitors goal. However, it was only three minutes later that the same player gave Dulwich the lead.

There seemed to be little danger when Koroma received the ball some 25 yards out but he let fly with a venomous effort that took a slight deflection and left Pierson motionless.

Tooting went close to levelling the scores in the 9th minute but a goalbound header from a corner was headed off the line, as the game flowed from end to end.

Next to come close was Panutche Camara who, having received a fine pass from Gavin Tomlin threaded behind the defence, saw his shot turned away by Pierson.

A swift break from the visitors ended with Bennett firing tamely wide and Wedgeworth had an effort from a free kick that had Preston Edwards beaten but passed narrowly wide of the post.

Dulwich then doubled their lead in the 24th minute through Jacob Erskine. Panutche Camara ran across field from the left and passed to Sanchez Ming wide on the right. His cross found the head of Erskine who comfortably beat Pierson.

Dulwich then came close to adding a third goal in the 28th minute. A Tooting corner was over hit and collected by Omar Koroma who turned and raced down field. He then found Panutche Camara on the right who delivered a low cross that Dipo Akinyemi fired just wide.

Dulwich were dominating the game and Koroma fired an effort wide, as well as having another effort too high, whilst Mohamed Mohamed also shot narrowly wide.

Half Time 2-0

Dulwich opened the second half in a positive manner, with Erskine chestng the ball down before turning and placing a volley just wide.

However, against the run of play, Tooting reduced the deficit in the 50th minute. There seemed no danger when Preston Edwards received a back pass but, as he looked to clear, he slipped on the freshly watered surface and passed the ball to Jack Mazzone who coolly advanced and placed the ball in the unguarded net.

What until that time had seemed a case of how many Dulwich would win by, now became a real test. Panutche Camara cut in from the left but Pierson got down well to push his effort wide.

The next chance fell to Tooting as a Mazzone header was cleared off the line following a cross to the dark pist and, from the resultant corner, ex Hamlet player Sandy Cunningham headed over from inside the six yard box after the ball had been flicked on at the near post.

Dulwich should have restored their two goal lead in the 64th minute. Firstly, Mohamed Mohamed struck a shot that hit the post, Panutche Camara had his follow up effort blocked and then Koroma shot wide.

Koroma dragged another effort wide, Sulaiman Bah missed a simple chance and Koroma had an effort blocked after more Impressive play from Camara.

Tooting substitute Dixon had a weak effort saved by Edwards in the final minute before Dulwich put the result beyond doubt in the first minute of added tine. A fine move down the right saw substitute Nyren Clunis released into space and his effort from a tight angle found its way past Pierson via a deflection.

Final Score 3-1
