With Ashley Carew & Nathan Green both unavailable due to injury, Sanchez Ming switched to left back with Kevin James starting in midfield. Nyren Clunis replaced Roman Michael-Percil in the starting line-up.
Dulwich attacked from the outset and Nyren Clunis had a good chance in the 3rd minute but he delayed too long and his effort was blocked. Gavin Tomlin then fired just too high as he controlled a long ball with one touch.
However, with their first foray forward, Folkestone took an 6th minute lead. Michael Chambers was indecisive and lost out in a challenge with Joe Taylor.and the debutant gave Preston Edwards no chance with a left footed effort high to his right.
Dulwich were then denied what appeared a clear penalty just a minute after falling behind. Tim Roberts in the Invicta goal failed to gather the ball and clattered into Daniel Carr but the referee deemed no offence had occurred.
Although Dulwich were doing most of the attacking, they could easily have fallen two goals behind. Taylor miscontrolled when well placed after a swift break and Preston Edwards brilliantly thwarted Scott Heard after a Matt Drage error left him through on goal.

Nyren Clunis wasted a good opportunity to level as Roberts presented him with the ball but the chance wasn't taken as he seemed to be caught between a shot and cross.
Dulwich got on level terms in the 22nd minute as Kevin James found Sanchez Ming who took the ball around the keeper to score. He then received a bizarre booking for his celebration that involved kicking the corner flag out of the ground.
Kadell Daniel should have done better when he was released in space on the left; his cross failing to pick out a number of well placed colleagues. At the other end, Ian Draycott brought another good save out of Preston Edwards before Dulwich took the lead.
Kadell Daniel created space and his left footed effort was deflected in by Gavin Tomlin to give Dulwich a 29th minute lead. Preston Edwards then made another brilliant stop with his legs to keep out a header from Callum Davies who was left unmarked at a corner.
Dulwich were then gifted a third goal in the 36th minute. The ball was presented to Nyren Clunis who advanced before beating Roberts low to his right. In fact, the home side could have had a fourth before the break but Daniel Carr was just too high with his effort after a fine pass from Gavin Tomlin.
The half closed with Preston Edwards again producing a fine save as Dulwich continued to be vulnerable at the back.
Half Time 3-1
The second half was only three minutes in when Dulwich stretched the visitors defence. Daniel Carr took on visiting skipper, Liam Friend, and he was brought crashing down in the box. Carr picked himself up to score emphatically from the spot.
Clunis had an effort that went wide and Carr headed a corner too high as Dulwich continued to create opportunities. However, Folkestone continued to look dangerous as an attacking force: Taylor finding space on the edge of the box but seeing Edwards leap high to his left to keep the effort out.
Nyren Clunis then came close to adding a fifth in the 63rd minute. He received a threaded pass by Kieran Djilali but saw his thunderous effort come out off the frame of the goal..
The next chance saw Alex Teniola denied by Roberts in a one on one and the keeper then saved well from Djilali. Folkestone then came very close to cutting the deficit when a low cross by Vincent was just out of the reach of the stretching Taylor,
Dulwich did add a fifth in the 71st minute. Kadell Daniel & Mark Weatherstone combined down the right to leave Alex Teniola with a simple finish from 10 yards out
Despite being four goals in arrears Folkestone remained an attacking force and O'Connor found space for a shot that Edwards got down low to his right to save.
With six minutes remaining The Hamlet added a sixth as Teniola received the ball on the edge of the box, turned and fired low past Roberts right hand.
