Dulwich Hamlet Youth fight back to move top of Youth Alliance

A game of two clichés at Sedgehill School today as the Aspire Academy coached Under 18s battled back from two down at the break to record a vital win.

Top spot was at stake this afternoon as Dulwich Hamlet travelled to face second placed Fulham (Sedgehill) this afternoon at the end of what has been a busy week.

After 45 minutes it seemed as if hopes of moving to the head of a congested title chasing pack would be dashed as Fulham turned around two goals to the good.

However the Dulwich Hamlet youngsters dug deep and found new resolve as goals from Kameiko Pope-Campbell and Osman Proni brought the two teams level. Then, just as it seemed as they might have to settle for a share of the points, Cristian Bucin ensured victory with a 90th minute matchwinner.

The win lifted Dulwich Hamlet into top spot, two points clear of Charlton Athletic Trust, but with ten games still to play and a single win covering the top four teams 'tis a long way twixt cup and lip!
