Gavin Rose gave a first league start to Mark Weatherstone in the only change from Saturday's line up; Matt Drage dropping to the bench.

Once again Dulwich fell behind early. Harlow's prolific marksman Alex Read flicked home a header using the pace of a well flighted free kick into the penalty area.

Harlow pushed The Hamlet back but the first time Dulwich created a chance they should have levelled in the 18th minute. Slick passing on the right saw Nyren Clunis find the unmarked Gavin Tomlin but his effort was wide.

Tomlin had another effort well saved by Hughes in the home goal before Preston Edwards had to spring to his right to keep out a Joe Benjamin header.

Dulwich wasted another good chance in the 41st minute when Michael Chambers headed over from a Tomlin cross and Tomlin then forced Hughes to save low to his right.

The half ended controversially as Ken Beaney was scythed down by what looked like a two footed lunge as the whistle blew. The referee took no action much to the consternation of the away bench.

Half Time 0-1

The second half meandered on with little goalmouth action in the opening 15 minutes and little sign that Dulwich could find a way back into the game.

However, a stunning save from Preston Edwards just past the hour turned out to be a momentum changer. A cross from the Dulwich left fell to a forward unmarked and less than 10 yards out. Somehow the Dulwich keeper sprung across his goal to push the shot over the bar.

Dulwich had another narrow escape as Sanchez Ming calmly cleared from in front of the line before Dulwich equalised in the 67th minute. A corner was headed clear to the edge of the box where Ashley Carew smashed a volley tgat flew in off the underside of the bar.

Dulwich were then in front just six minutes later. Nathan Green went on a run that took him to the byline where he and Nyren Clunis seemed to get in each other's way. However Green then delivered a great cross to the far post where Daniel Carr met it with a deft header back across the goal and into the far corner.

Harlow pushed forward but despite a number of crosses and set plays they failed to test Preston Edwards again. At the other end substitute Roman Michael-Percil forced a good save from Hughes whilst Nyren Clunis almost marked his 300th appearance with a goal; his stoppage time shot going narrowly wide.

Final Score 1-2
