Goals from Jacob Erskine & Ashley Carew gave Dulwich victory on the 3G pitch of their Vanerama National League South opponents.

This was another bright performance from The Hamlet as they secured victory over their higher ranked opponents.A clearly not fully fit Oshane Brown returned in goal and there was a defensive reshuffle with Osei Sankofa, formerly of Whitehawk, partnering Matt Drage in the centre with Ethan Pinnock on the left & Jordan Hibbert on the right of them.

Ashley Carew had a 3rd minute free kick saved before Jacob Erskine put Dulwich in front in the 8th minute. His fierce shot on the run from outside the penalty area beating the keeper low to his left.

The home side had a free kick on the edge of the penalty area that was deflected over and, from the resulting corner, Oshane Brown comfortably held a volleyed effort.

Jacob Erskine latched on to a long clearance and volleyed just over but then had to limp off to be replaced by Jack Dixon.

Damian Scannell was sent clear in the 28th minute but shot too close to the keeper and, five minutes later, Ashley Carew volleyed just wide after a headed clearance reached him just outside the box.

Half Time 0-1

The home side had the better of the early exchanges in the second period but it was Dulwich who scored next in the 58th minute. Damian Scannell was fouled some 25 yards out and Ashley Carew stepped up to strike the ball over the wall and past a motionless keeper.

Scannell was just wide with an effort on the hour & Jack Dixon dragged a shot just wide after he had linked well with Scannell. In between those Hamlet efforts the home side had come close with a shot just over the bar.

Brown did well to push a goalbound effort around the post before a Sankofo cross just evaded both Willock & Fernandes.

The home side pulled a goal back with 12 minutes remaining as a cross evaded Matt Drage and was easily converted from 12 yards out.

They also came close with an 83rd minute effort scrambled off the line and a shot into the side netting as they pushed for an equaliser.

Full Time 1-2
