Dulwich produced a stirring 2nd half performance following a dreadful first 45 minutes.

Gavin Rose made two changes from Saturday's defeat to Canvey Island with Sanchez Ming & Kadell Daniel replacing Matt Drage & Ashley Carew.

To describe the first half as a poor performance is being kind; no shots to speak of, no goal threat and looking likely to concede at any time.

Dulwich were indebted to Preston Edwards in the 7th minute as Karl Oliyide easily beat Sanchez Ming but the Dulwich keeper blocked the effort with his legs. However they were behind 2 minutes later. Niko Muir was allowed to run unchallenged from just inside the Dulwich half and was clipped in the box. Spencer McCall converted from the spot.

Kezie Ibe should have put Hendon two in front in the 11th minute but, having got on the end of a cross by Oliyide, he lifted his shot over the bar.

Preston Edwards then had to be quick off his line to thwart Oliyide and he also had to push out another ferocious shot; Sanchez Ming hacking away the rebound.

As for Dulwich, Kadell Daniel had an effort well wide and there were a few crosses but that was it.

Half Time 1-0

Nyren Clunis was replaced at half time by Roman Michael-Percil and he injected some much-needed life into The Hamlet.

Gavin Tomlin had a header comfortably saved and Ibrahim Kargbo got a shot on target as Dulwich finally showed some urgency. Clearly they had been sent out with some choice words from the management ringing in their ears.

Just past the hour they were level. Good play released Michael-Percil on the right and he got to the byline before pulling the ball back for Gavin Tomlin to fire home.

Dulwich were now more fluent and Nathan Green's effort was just wide before Dulwich should have taken the lead. Roman Michael-Percil and Gavin Tomlin exchanged passes and, as a result, got in behind the defence but Hendon keeper Brendan Norris somehow kept out Michael-Percil's effort from no more than 6 yards.

Ashley Carew had a deflected effort that required Norris to tip over and Daniel Carr produced a weak shot as a Gavin Tomlin pass gave him space to cut in from the left.

However, Hendon were still able to force a number of dangerous set plays and, from one long throw, Preston Edwards had to be alert to grab an inadvertent flick on by Mark Weatherstone.

Dulwich continued to push for a winner but were unable to break down a resolute Hendon side; the closest being when a glorious pass from Michael Chambers released Nathan Green whose cross into the six yard box was hacked away.

Final Score 1-1
