After the final whistle on Saturday 6th September, our 'Pay What You Like' game at home to Hampton & Richmond Borough, as part of Non League Day , the management trio of Gavin Rose, Junior Kadi & Kevin James are all in for a soaking!

And not just them...as the First Team players have agreed to take part too.

But for them to do so we need YOUR money...

It's sponsorship they're after, and every penny they raise through the 'Dulwich Hamlet Ice Bucket Challenge' will be split half and half between the Mayor of Southwark's charity fund & the team's nominated one, which is the ALS Association, two very worthy causes.

On Saturday, at Billericay Town, Shaun Dooley will have a form to collect your pledges of donations, large and small. And you can also make donations at both the "12th Man Stand", through Shaun, on Tuesday night at home to Margate.

Also, at the Hampton match, the Club will be running the 50/50 draw as usual, and have agreed to donate whatever is collected, after the winner had been paid, to this cause as well.

And if you thought all that was great...wait until the best bit:

For YOU, a supporter of The Hamlet, can empty a bucket of ice cold water over one of your heroes!'

Later in the week we will list the names of all the players taking part, and we are asking for you to pay for the privilege of soaking them!

If you want to tip one over a player we are asking for a £20 donation, while for the honour of drenching one of the Dulwich 'Holy trinity' of Gavin, Junior & Kevin we need a pledge of £50 for each one.

We plan to accept the bids for the 'bucket fans' via email, commencing at 12 noon exactly, on Monday afternoon...we shall let you know more here, on the official Dulwich hamlet website, in a few days. And, if you're 'shy' you can ask someone else to do the 'dastardly deed' yourself!

We know our fans are extremely generous and hope you will dig deep and support this venutre, either by pledging to be a 'bucket tipper', or just a few bob to the cause, via the sponsor forms.

So after the match, on the 6th Spetember, make sure you don't dash off home at the final whistle. Have a quick pint in the club house before coming out pitch side to see the players & management get a soaking at a quarter past five!
